We have been here, at Ashwood House, providing bed and breakfast in Harrogate since 1980, running it as a Guest House and loving it as our home. Through those many years we have been privileged to offer the best we thought possible, in quality of appointments, comfort, welcome and delicious food. Naturally, we have learned much along the way about what pleases our guests most and nothing pleases us more than the opportunity to supply it.

Our regular visitors, having become good friends over the years, will see some changes this year and going forwards. We have transformed our lovely Edwardian house into a Scandi residence. We have created light and space through colour throughout the whole house and now offer just three bedrooms. As always, we maintain the highest standards of of comfort and cleanliness and each of our en-suite bedrooms is a delightful testament to the thoughtfulness and care that has created it. Think of the danish word "hygge" (pronounced hue-gah) and you have an idea of the cosiness we wish for you: live well, live simply, live scandi.

We just know you will love it, as we do, and you are only a short stroll from Harrogate's delightfully floral town centre with it's wonderful restaurants and shops. The convention centre is just around the corner and the stunning Royall Hall just down the road past the Majestic Hotel. Just five minutes walk will take you to the Turkish Baths, Royal Pump Room Museum, Mercer Art Gallery or the fabulous Valley Gardens.
